What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at RPh on the Go?
We are seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a day shift opportunity in Wray, Colorado. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative hospital setting serving a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Day Shift
- 8-hour shifts
Term of Assignment:
13 weeks with potential for extension or permanent placement
Job Duties:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics
- Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and billing clerks
- Monitor all postings in patient profiles for accuracy (allergies, interactions, duplicate therapy, appropriate drug use)
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
- Maintain quality control standards, controlled substance security, and hazardous waste disposal
- Participate in 340B program operations, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related meetings
- Stay current with industry standards through continuing education, conferences, and professional resources
Requirements:
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License (clear and in good standing)
- 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- 340B experience preferred
- Willingness to relocate or stay in Wray, CO
- Supervisory experience preferred
