It offers an opportunity to work within a specialized pharmacy environment on the 2nd shift with rotating weekends.Location: Des Plaines, ILJob Type: Contract to HireSchedule/Shift: 2nd Shift (flexible hours): 10:00 AM 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM, or 12:00 PM 8:30 PM Rotating weekends Key Responsibilities: Accurately fill prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Prepare sterile compounded medications following USP 797 guidelines Maintain cleanliness of the Sterile Compounding room to ensure regulatory compliance Enter data into pharmacy computer systems with precision Handle medications and intravenous (IV) preparations safely and effectively Qualifications and Desired Experience: Illinois State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing Minimum of 2 years experience with IV sterile compounding Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy settings preferred Strong knowledge of medications, IV preparations, and prescription filling This contract to hire position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging between $22 and $25, based on experience.
