This role focuses on sterile compounding within a home infusion environment, supporting patient care through accurate and safe medication preparation and dispensing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications according to established protocols and standards.
- Manage home infusion prescriptions and ensure proper medication distribution.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety procedures.
- Participate in rotating schedules to support pharmacy operations Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma pharmacy license is required.
- Experience in home infusion or inpatient hospital pharmacy practice.
- Sterile compounding experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively within a dynamic healthcare team.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts such as 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Contract Details:
- Initial 13-week contract with the possibility of direct hire based on performance.
