PROJECT MANAGER - INSULATION

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee operations, contract execution, and project management within the insulation industry. This role is responsible for ensuring profitability, productivity, and compliance across multiple capital and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support for project and contract execution.
- Manage P&L to drive profitability and increase margins.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure best practices on terms and conditions.
- Oversee project productivity through site reviews, operating rhythms, and performance tracking.
- Lead bid and contract review processes, including risk and opportunity assessments.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while reducing labor, material, and administrative costs.
- Manage delay and change orders, earned value, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Prepare detailed estimates, bids, and quote packages using drawings, specifications, and site walk-throughs.
- Ensure quality assurance and documentation standards are met for all projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support bids, proposals, and project execution.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to address concerns proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- 3–5 years of relevant field and industry experience (construction services, manufacturing, petrochemical, refinery, power).
- Military leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience with contract execution and P&L management.
- Proven operational/field expertise in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of project cost control, scheduling, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting.
- Experience with business analysis and information systems management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Visio (intermediate to advanced level).
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including internationally (50% or more).
