Primary Responsibilities
The Construction Millwright is responsible for safely servicing all RoyOMartin facilities.
- Assist the supervisor with on-site projects and issues that may develop
- Safely performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on all plant mechanical equipment
- Ability to cut and weld for fabrication
- Ability to perform sprocket alignments, change various types of bearings, and properly measure layouts
- Properly and safely rig heavy machinery components
- Requires flexibility to travel to all RoyOMartin facilities as necessary, which may occasionally involve extended assignments
Job Experience
Required skills, experience, and/or education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding safety and attendance record
- One year of industrial experience required, three years of mechanical experience in an industrial environment, preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Attention to detail in all areas
- Ability to grasp concepts easily
- Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed
