What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Scheduler position at Royal?
- Expedite or defer operations and materials that alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Work closely with buyers and production routers to adjust material and operations that may change the production schedule.
- Create plant capacity reports and reports relating to potential late customer shipments.
- Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data by performing mathematical calculations to determine customer sequences and lead times of manufacturing processes.
- Release and schedule production jobs.
- Create and submit customer acknowledgements when required.
- Converse with Production Manager over any potentially late shipments and routes the information either to the salesperson or customer, if requested.
