What You’ll Do

Your future starts here! The Shipping Clerk (or Materials Coordinator as we call it in-house) at Royal is responsible for preparing and overseeing shipping schedules internally and externally to ensure Royal’s shipments are complete and shipped on time. This is a manufacturing plant based role, working out of our Quincy production facility in Hudsonville. This position reports to the Materials Supervisor and works on 3rd Shift (12pm-8am).

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping schedules internally and ensure products from manufacturing are completed on time
• Coordinate shipping schedules with multiple carriers and customer pickups
• Verify and create records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Communicate with customer service when shipments are not fulfilled
• Ensure customer orders match customer shipments
• Utilize digital shipping board to track progress of material handling teams and production teams
• Keep the shipping area and desk organized
• Support cycle counts when needed

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience 
• Ability to operate a sit down forklift
• Proficient with computers
• Experience working in a self directed role where you were expected to take initiative. 
• Good time management skills 
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Ability to work 3rd shift (12am-8am)
