Wellness/Spa Medical Assistant

Job Summary
Join our dynamic Wellness Center as a Medical Assistant dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting clinical operations. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, assisting healthcare providers with wellness/spa procedures, patient intake, and administrative tasks. Your expertise in Health& Wellness Spa services will ensure smooth clinic flow and optimal patient experiences. Duties

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and perform thorough intake procedures including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians in assessing patient health.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, IV insertion, other assistance, and basic life support techniques.
• Support documentation efforts by accurately updating electronic health record (EHR) systems with patient information, ICD coding for diagnoses, and treatment details.
• Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Maintain a high standard of patient service by addressing questions promptly and ensuring a positive clinic experience for diverse populations including geriatrics, PICU patients, or those requiring emergency medicine support.

Experience

• Prior experience working in Wellness clinics, Medical Spas, Esthetics is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems and familiarity with up selling and marketing.
• Experience with Esthetics and Sales are advantageous.
• Experience working within Wellness environments such as Spas or Wllness or Massage Centers enhances your ability to handle complex cases efficiently.
• Proven ability to perform medical procedures including medication administration and vital sign assessment in Relaxed professional Wellness Center setting.

Pay: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour
