Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and industry best practices
- Care for floors through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for ongoing needs
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly
- Adhere to established schedules and checklists to ensure all assigned areas are serviced efficiently and thoroughly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, hospitality, or custodial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
