What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cooler/Warehouse Worker position at Royal Crest Dairy?
This is a full time hourly position that must be available to work holidays and week-days. Normal schedule will be Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM. This position will be responsible for various duties throughout the warehouse, to include: order selection, loading, and moving products and other materials.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Load and properly rotate product on trucks and trailers. Help unload and put away incoming product. Keep milk and other products properly rotated in cooler. Must be code date conscious, and capable of keeping entire warehouse clean and organized.
Requirements:
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move – 50 lbs. of product. This will include “hooking and dragging” 5 crates stacked of approx. 40 lbs. each.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment continuously, throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work late night/early morning hours, but also cover as relief for day-side vacations, etc., of other team members, plus holidays
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must pass all pre – employment criteria; DOT physical, background check, drug screen.
• Prefer high school graduate/GED equivalent.
• Hourly wage of approx. $15.00 per hour, plus generous benefits package after 60 days.
