A person in Morganville, NJ is looking for a Self-Directed Employee (SDE) to assist them and be a companion for a variety of fun activities that include, but are not limited to Riding Bikes with the person, playing/watching pickleball and/or baseball, and talking about sports (is a big plus). The other part of this role would be assisting with daily living skills (assisting with medication, assisting with cooking, and grocery shopping) as well as light housekeeping. This position would require being able to monitor Blood Pressure and Pulse as well as administering medication, experience with this is a bonus! This is a position all about doing with the individual, not for them.
The Ideal Self-Directed Employee (SDE) is to report to the individual and would be someone who is community minded and understands person centered supports. It’s not required, but is definitely a plus if you know the area in and around Marlboro. Schedule of Services:
Monday – Friday (20 hours weekly):
Morning hours 8am-12pm
Pay rate: per hour
$22 per hour
Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old or older
Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a car
Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be willing to have a background check

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States
