What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Directed Employee- SDE position at Royal Community Support?
A fun-loving, kind woman is looking for a Self-Directed Employee (SDE) to help with everyday living and enjoy getting out in the community. She’s social, enjoys going to the movies and shopping at the mall, and likes to stay active outside the home.
The right person will be engaging and supportive, while also respecting that her apartment is her home.
What You’ll Help With:
Dressing, bathing, and other personal care
Meal prep and light housekeeping
Going out to the movies, mall, and other activities
Driving her accessible van to outings
Helping with safe transfers to and from her wheelchair
Being friendly and engaging while respecting personal space
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, caring, and self-motivated
Comfortable with personal care and mobility support
Able to assist with wheelchair transfers
Valid driver’s license (you’ll be driving her van)
Caregiving experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay:
Starting at $20 per hour
