PAY RATE: $24 PER HOUR
Position Overview:
We are actively hiring a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team
This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence. Work schedules will be assigned based on Individual's needs, availability, and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to an individual while they attend a 6 hour program on Saturdays in Brick,NJ.
- Pick the individual up at their residence in Point Pleasant and accompany him to Evermore Solutions program in Brick, NJ and drop him back off at home.
- must have a reliable vehicle with unexpired auto insurance/registration/inspection to take this individual to his program. Provide guidance as needed while he engages with his program assignments or activities.
- Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
- Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
- Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
- Must have a smart device and data plan to utilize our Employment Visit Verification system.
