Pool Technician

We are a family owned & operated pool business in Midlothian that is looking for trustworthy and dependable help that is seeking long-term employment. We are hiring immediately for this full-time position! Employee will report in Midlothian, but jobs are scattered across Northern Ellis County & Southern Dallas County.

About the Company: Royal Blue Pools provides quality pool service with over 22 years of experience. We have a great reputation and very long-term relationships with our customers. The position is for a Pool Maintenance Technician. We are seeking an individual to fulfill this important role in our company for the long term. The ideal person for this position will love to work outdoors. They will be a self starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance.

Swimming Pool Service Tech- Essential Functions:

· Manage a swimming pool route that includes weekly cleaning, chemical, and equipment maintenance.

· The ability to spot equipment repair needs and communicate those needs to the office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• NO previous pool service experience is required, training will be provided
• Ideal candidate is accountable, disciplined, a trouble shooter, that is also a self-starter with a great work ethic.
• No felony convictions (must pass a criminal background check) and drug test.
• Must have valid Texas driver's license and current automobile insurance, with a good driving record. NO tickets or at fault accidents in past 36 months.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to lift 100 lb. and withstand Texas’ severe hot and cold weather

Requirements:

• Must be looking for a long-term position.
• Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
• Quality of work is most essential versus quantity of pools cleaned.
• Willingness to constantly learn more.
• Maintain a professional appearance and maintain clean jobsites.
• Maintain accurate records, company forms and invoices.

We will provide all cleaning tools and equipment. Employment is full time, all seasons and long-term with the opportunity to pick up extra pay.

Pay is starting at $15 per pool, you can have 40-55 pools a week. With ample opportunity to make extra money.
