What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Hall Manager position at Royal Banquet and Event Halls?
This long term role is responsible for assisting clients with planning and coordinating events and meetings. Our Event Hall Manager will help ensure that events run successfully by supervising events held, troubleshooting issues, and providing excellent customer service. The Event Hall Manager will also achieve sales goals by effectively selling the event space, decorating services, and additional services provided by our team. We also will rely on this role to contribute to providing ideas and insights to continuously build on and to improve our event processes. *Pay rate susceptible to change, dependent on experience and skill*
Responsibilities:
- Event planning
- Contract Management
- Coordinate staff
- Manage Setup, on-site production, and clean-up for events
- Ensure event logistics are prepared and ready (decorations, staffing, AV support, catering, security, etc.)
- Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce additional business.
- Negotiates contracts and agreements
- Showcases Event Hall and hosts tours to clients
- Brings new promotional ideas to the table
- Can lift up to 50lbs
- Front Desk Management, filing paperwork, assisting clients, finalizing contracts

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), extensive work experience or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in event planning, event services, event management, or hospitality work
- Familiarity knowledge of Bay Area/ East Bay market
- Please, have resume or portfolio displaying work done in the past
- **Fluency in Spanish a plus, but not required

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
