Roy's first opened its doors in 1928 as a gathering place where neighbors became friends over breakfast and coffee. After sitting quiet for seven years, Roy's is being thoughtfully restored—not simply as another small-town café, but as a place where exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and community come together.
We're looking for a talented Line Cook who loves cooking from scratch, takes pride in every plate, and enjoys working with a team that cares deeply about quality.

What You'll Do
- Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
- Execute recipes exactly as written while maintaining Roy's quality standards.
- Prep fresh ingredients, sauces, baked goods, and proteins daily.
- Maintain an exceptionally clean and organized workstation.
- Work efficiently during busy service while staying calm under pressure.
- Plate food beautifully and consistently.
- Help receive, rotate, and properly store inventory.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure every guest receives outstanding food.
What We're Looking For
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Passion for cooking from scratch.
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and continually improve.
