We are seeking a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator to support our day-to-day transportation, shipping, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can coordinate multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries
- Schedule pickups, deliveries, and transportation with carriers and drivers
- Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status
- Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and transportation documentation
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, customers, and vendors
- Verify shipment details, quantities, addresses, and delivery requirements
- Assist with resolving shipping delays, damaged shipments, and delivery discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory movements
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are prepared and shipped on time
- Monitor transportation schedules and adjust plans when necessary
- Assist with freight paperwork, bills of lading, shipping labels, and related documentation
- Enter and update information in company systems accurately
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a related field is preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Comfortable working with computers, email, spreadsheets, and data-entry systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and professional work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay: $25.20 - $30.30 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
