We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized General Manager for Roy Briley Condo Association Management to lead the management and operations of residential properties, including condominiums and multi-family communities. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and administrative functions
- Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring excellent customer service
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality
- Administer lease agreements, renewals, and rent collection while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to contracts, evictions, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and oversee vendor relationships for repairs and upgrades
- Facilitate community engagement initiatives to promote resident satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, maintenance records, tenant files, and financial reports
- Implement conflict management strategies to address disputes effectively while fostering a positive community atmosphere
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential communities or condominiums
- Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law
- Strong knowledge of property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in legal administrative processes related to contracts, evictions, and compliance documentation
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
- Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks
- Background in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is highly desirable
- Ability to upsell amenities or services that enhance resident satisfaction while adhering to ethical standards
