About the Role

The Office of the Founder is the operating center of ROXIUM Inc. The Founder's Associate works directly alongside the Founder and the Senior Strategic Founder's Associate to keep priorities moving — tracking commitments, preparing materials, coordinating across teams, and closing loops before they become bottlenecks.

This is a high-exposure, high-trust role. You will see how decisions get made at the executive level and be expected to carry real work independently, not just observe it.

What You'll Do

• Manage the Founder's daily priorities: scheduling, inbox triage, follow-ups, and meeting preparation.
• Draft, format, and edit correspondence, memos, decks, and internal documentation.
• Track action items across projects and teams, and follow through to completion.
• Prepare research, summaries, and briefing materials ahead of meetings and decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal departments on behalf of the Office of the Founder.
• Maintain organized records, files, and trackers so information is retrievable on demand.
• Take on discrete projects that reduce the operating workload of the Founder and Senior Strategic Founder's Associate.

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional written and verbal communication; you can draft something clean the first time.
• Strong organizational instincts — you track details without being asked twice.
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential business information.
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast turnarounds.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office; quick to learn new tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience supporting an executive, founder, or small business is a plus but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, on-site in Irvine, with some flexibility based on business needs.
• As a non-exempt position, overtime is paid in accordance with California law, and meal and rest periods are provided as required.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Actual pay within this range is determined by relevant experience, demonstrated ability, and final scope of responsibilities. At 40 hours per week, this equates to approximately $41,600 – $52,000 annually, exclusive of overtime and any additional compensation. Hours are not guaranteed.

Growth

As performance is demonstrated, this role can expand into greater project ownership, deeper exposure to company strategy, and advancement toward senior operations, strategy, project management, or leadership-support roles. Compensation is reviewed periodically based on performance, judgment, reliability, and business needs. Advancement and increases are not guaranteed.
