Cashier/Server

Roxanne's Market is a local cafe/market combination for homemade sandwiches, salads and take-home casseroles along with fine wines and delicious desserts! We offer a casual dine-in lunch and a market option to purchase take-home casseroles and desserts.

Roxanne's Market is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Server. We are looking for a personable, reliable, and trustworthy individual who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and other employees.

• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Managing cash register for market.
• Assisting customers with selections.
• Answering phone to accept reservations.
• Serving food orders to guests in the dining area or at the table. This includes setting up the table with all necessary utensils, serving food, checking for food or other errors, taking notes on an iPad or computer, and closing the table after each order is served.
• Assisting other departments with opening or closing tasks. This includes opening the restaurant at the start of the day by resetting all dining tables and cleaning the kitchen. At times when there are special events or special orders that require more assistance than normal, this may require additional duties such as opening or closing the restaurant, serving meals during high-volume events such as holidays or special events, or assisting other departments during busy times such as holidays or peak season.
