On Rover, pet parents can easily discover, book, and manage personalized care for their dogs including pet sitting, dog walking, and doggy day care. What we’re looking for:
Rover seeks an experienced grooming professional to offer their grooming services on the platform. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of professional grooming experience.
As grooming is a new initiative at Rover, we are seeking a groomer who can also share feedback with our operations and product teams to inform how we build systems and drive efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in Rover care
- Provide high quality grooming services with no supervision
- Provide all aspects of grooming services including standard breed cuts, bathing, drying, brushing, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and gland expressions
- Move and handle dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Maintain a clean grooming environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients (where applicable) before and after appointments
Qualifications:
- 1 years grooming experience
- Active grooming license
- Experience with all standard breed cuts
- Warm, professional, and highly customer-centric
