Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide outstanding customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic math calculations for accurate transactions.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication.
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclubs by setting up bars, serving drinks promptly, and assisting with food service when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while managing time effectively in a high-energy environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience working in the food industry or retail math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
