Position: Marketing Event Specialist

As a Marketing Events Specialist reporting to the Demand Generation Manager, you will coordinate and execute marketing events ranging from national conferences to local and virtual experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals and brand standards. As capacity allows, you will also support marketing campaigns and other promotional initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate about creating engaging, memorable experiences for employees, clients, prospects, and partners. This role requires strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to align events with buyer personas, messaging, and customer journey strategies, ensuring the right experiences are delivered to the right audiences at the right time.

You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to align events with buyer personas, messaging, and customer journey strategies, ensuring the right experiences are delivered to the right audiences at the right time.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute internal and external events from planning through post-event follow-up, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Manage event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, contract negotiation, travel, swag, booth materials, and event activities.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee event-related communications and execution throughout the planning process.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to support event goals and attendee engagement strategies.
- Track event budgets, invoices, expenses, reimbursements, and reporting in partnership with Accounting and Finance.
- Support development and execution of event promotion plans alongside the Demand Generation Manager and Events Lead.
- Monitor RSVPs, attendance, post-event feedback, and event performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute creative ideas for impactful virtual and in-person event experiences.
- Support employee engagement and internal communications initiatives, including coordination and distribution of internal content and events.
- Ensure employee-facing events are organized, aligned with company culture and brand values, and deliver a positive experience.
- Build and maintain repeatable workflows and processes to improve efficiency and execution.
- Provide regular updates on project status, proactively troubleshoot issues, and keep stakeholders aligned on timelines and priorities.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Event coordination/management experience, preferably in B2B setting.
- Great communications skills, with the ability to engage internal and external partners to meet deadlines, budget, and output expectations.
- Understanding of technology landscape for virtual events, including Zoom, Teams, and other platforms.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, able to meet deadlines
- High-energy and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrable experience using project management and marketing tech tools, including Wrike, Salesforce, and Pardot (or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneDrive and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of the health insurance market is a plus.

Salary : $52,000 - $55,000
