What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Coordinator position at Rounded Digital?
Job Overview
Rounded Digital is hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator to manage client relationships, drive projects forward, and ensure every deliverable meets our standard.
You’ll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of small business clients—owning communication, timelines, and execution across website builds, SEO content, and ongoing support.
This role blends project management with creative execution—we’re looking for someone who can own both.
This is a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are non-negotiable. At the same time, we’re not looking for someone who just follows instructions—we’re looking for someone who contributes to the work and helps make it better.
Client Communication & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients
- Maintain proactive, high-touch communication via email, phone, and Google Meet
- Respond promptly and stay ahead of client needs
- Build strong relationships by being reliable, clear, and solutions-oriented
Project Management & Website Execution
- Own multiple client projects from start to finish (website builds, content rollouts, support requests)
- Execute website builds using our established WordPress systems and builder tools
- Customize layouts, imagery, and content to reflect each client’s brand and goals
- Manage timelines, scope deliverables, and coordinate internal workflows
- Deliver projects on time without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
Creative Execution & Design Contribution
- Bring a creative eye to every website—this is not a “plug and play” role
- Use tools like Adobe Illustrator (and similar) to edit, refine, or create visual assets
- Make thoughtful decisions around layout, imagery, and overall user experience
- Identify opportunities to improve design, flow, and presentation across client sites
- Contribute ideas—not just execution—when it comes to how projects should look and feel
Content & SEO Support
- Coordinate and publish SEO-driven blog content
- Write or refine service page content (often up to ~10,000 words per project)
- Ensure all monthly deliverables (content, backlinks, reporting) are completed and sent on time
Support & Quality Assurance
- Monitor and manage support requests daily
- Perform QA checks before launches or updates go live
- Ensure every website is responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with brand standards
- Maintain clean documentation and internal organization across all projects
What We’re Really Looking For
We’re not just hiring a coordinator—we’re hiring someone who takes ownership of their work and contributes to the outcome.
- You have a strong eye for design and care about how things look, feel, and perform
- You’re comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator and handling basic design edits when needed
- You can confidently make layout, branding, and visual decisions without hand-holding
- You don’t wait for direction—you think ahead, explore options, and come back with ideas
- You operate with urgency and take pride in delivering high-quality work
- You’re organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities without things slipping
What Success Looks Like
- You consistently hit deadlines and monthly deliverables without being chased
- You communicate proactively with clients and the team
- You bring ideas to the table and improve the quality of the work
- Your clients feel supported, confident, and well taken care of
- You take full ownership of your projects from start to finish
What We Offer
- Health benefits (75% covered after 90 days)
- 2 weeks PTO
- 9 paid holidays
- Annual bonus (December)
- Performance-based raises
- Streamlined systems for payroll, HR, and time-off management
Final Thought
This isn’t a role where you sit back and wait for direction. It’s a role where you take ownership, contribute ideas, and do work that has a direct impact on our clients’ growth.
If you’re someone who likes being trusted to figure things out, improve what’s in front of you, and be part of a team that actually executes—you’ll do well here.
