Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh pizzas, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, food prep stations, and dining space in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food handling tasks including baking, topping, and packaging pizzas for dine-in or takeout orders
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, managing food delivery to customers, and ensuring quick service in a fast-food setting
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen operations within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
