Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders both at the counter and via POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Prepare a variety of pizzas and other menu items following established recipes and food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food preparation tasks efficiently to ensure quick service during busy hours in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Support food handling, bussing tables, and assisting with basic kitchen duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in a quick service & fast food restaurant or café environment is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
