My client are seeking a RF Calibration Technician, join a trusted, accredited modern lab with 45 years of excellence serving Aerospace, Medical, and other high-precision industries. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Optional Overtime)
Pay: $45–$65/hr DOE
About the RF Technician :
We are seeking an experienced RF Calibration Technician to ensure the accuracy and reliability of RF and microwave instruments used in critical industries.
Calibration Disciplines & Equipment:
- AC/DC Frequency (Electrical / Electromagnetics): Voltage up to ~70 kV, Current up to ~6,000 A, AC/DC sources/meters
- Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Frequency counters/meters, LCR meters
- Time & Frequency: Clocks, timers, stopwatches, frequency counters
- Radio Frequency (RF): RF test equipment calibration, microwave instruments, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, RF amplifiers (gain calibration), filters (frequency response), network analyzers (S-parameters), RF power meters/sensors
- Accelerometers (Vibration/Dynamics): Vibration sensors, frequency response calibration
Responsibilities of the RF technician:
- Perform calibrations according to NIST-traceable standards
- Generate accurate reports and maintain documentation
- Inspect equipment and collaborate with engineers
- Support audits and provide technical guidance
- Maintain safety standards and troubleshoot equipment
Requirements of the RF Technician :
- Proven experience in RF calibration, electrical, time & frequency, or vibration instrumentation
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and visit client sites as needed
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizen or permanent resident
