The Head of Electrical Engineering / Principal Electrical Engineer position exists to lead the electrical function set technical direction deliver critical designs and guide the development of high reliability hardware for demanding aerospace applications.
As the Head of Electrical Engineering / Principal Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include
- Leading the electrical engineering team and setting direction technical standards and priorities
- Acting as the subject matter expert across power electronics passive components and EMI filtering
- Owning electrical hardware design from concept through qualification including analysis schematics and testing
- Ensuring production readiness by supporting manufacturing configuration control and quality processes
- Working across teams and with customers to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions
As the Head of Electrical Engineering / Principal Electrical Engineer you will bring
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering with strong hands on design capability
- Deep knowledge of EMI and EMC filtering power electronics passive networks and aerospace hardware
- Strong skills in schematic design simulation component selection derating and electrical analysis
- Experience building testing and debugging prototypes with standard laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with aerospace qualification and quality frameworks and the ability to lead technical teams
