As the Battery Engineer your responsibilities will include
- Developing next generation battery systems that meet demanding aerospace performance requirements
- Performing modelling and analysis to optimise cell and battery architectures
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust integration and packaging
- Supporting test design, verification activity and performance validation at cell and battery levels
- Preparing technical documentation to present performance data and engineering findings
As the Battery Engineer you will bring
- A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Experience in battery design, development and testing in a relevant engineering environment
- Knowledge of battery cell fundamentals, testing approaches and failure behaviours
- Familiarity with test equipment, data analysis practices and relevant engineering tools
- Strong communication skills with an organised and collaborative approach
