Sunvair Aerospace Group delivers specialist aerospace MRO services across landing gear, hydraulic components, avionics, HVOF and cargo systems. The Reno site is expanding and now seeks a technically strong engineer to support design work, sustainment activity and project delivery within an FAA Part 145 environment.
As the Lead Engineer your responsibilities will include
• Managing engineering projects across avionics repair, redesign and troubleshooting
• Supporting repair and overhaul activity in line with FAA Part 145 requirements
• Designing wiring diagrams, harnesses and PCB layouts
• Maintaining schematics, test procedures and compliance records
• Acting as the engineering contact for programme managers, quality and customers
As the Lead Engineer you will bring
• A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Five years of engineering experience
• Practical experience with avionics test equipment and data buses
• Knowledge of wiring, connectors, electronics assembly and basic mechanical design
• Strong communication skills with project leadership experience
