EWIS Engineer

RPS is supporting a leading aerospace innovator seeking a Contract EWIS Engineer to join its electrical systems design team on an urgent contract basis. Based in Seattle with three days per week on site and two days remote, this role supports the development of advanced electrical architectures for next generation aircraft. The contract offers an immediate start with an hourly rate between $75 and $100.

As the EWIS Engineer your responsibilities will include

• Owning end to end EWIS design from schematic creation to harness definition

• Developing wiring and circuit designs using the Siemens Capital tool suite

• Producing accurate digital manufacturing data to aerospace standards

• Collaborating with systems mechanical and manufacturing teams

• Supporting certification and design assurance activities

As the EWIS Engineer you will bring

• Extensive experience in harness and circuit design using Capital Logic

• Strong capability in Capital Harness Designer Capital XC

• Experience of EWIS delivery within aerospace or defense programmes

• Knowledge of 3D routing in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX

• Familiarity with Capital Library and Symbol Designer tools
