Join our growing entertainment company as an Amusement Planning representative! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Crane, Redemption, and Game Supply teams within our Amusement Department, as well as overseeing the Payment Team. The Director is responsible for procurement of prizes used in Crane machines and prizes used in the Redemption room, in addition to managing game supply consumables. The Director is expected to be a flexible, hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage operations, data, and people effectively. This role works closely with the Amusement Planning Vice President to implement strategic initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and ensure smooth execution of day-to-day operations. A strong focus on compliance, data analysis, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration is critical to success in this position.
Japanese–English bilingual proficiency is required for this position.
Essential Duties
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Crane, Redemption, Game Supply, and Payment teams to ensure alignment with company financial and operational goals.
- Translate executive-level objectives into structured annual plans, quarterly initiatives, and operational priorities.
- Oversee execution of key projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and accountability are met across all teams.
- Lead team performance management, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Oversee staffing strategy, workload planning, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency and growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Management experience in procurement, operations, or merchandising, including leadership at a senior management level.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, COGS analysis, and executive reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and large data analysis).
- Proven experience managing managers and teams, including performance management and organizational development.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal and written) with experience conducting professional negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance and senior leadership.
- Solid understanding of corporate compliance, internal controls, and audit processes.
