What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Baker position at ROUND BAGELS & DONUTS?
Round Bagels & Donuts in Wilmington, NC is looking for an EXPERIENCED baker to add to our amazing team. Our ideal candidate is professional, self-driven, punctual, reliable, hard-working and who would describe themselves as positive, friendly and a team player. BAKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Duties include proofing, stretching, seeding and baking bagels, and other baked goods. Additional duties are prep work as required, cleaning pans, cleaning kitchen and floor, putting up stock. Pay commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Must be able to calculate numbers of bagels to bake, Knowledge of simple math - adding and subtracting
- Must be able to multi task.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Job requires standing all day.
- Must be reliable and be able to arrive at 4 a.m. and be available on the weekends.
- Pay commensurate with experience
