AS A HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
You will be part of our diverse human resources acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your friendliness, accuracy, and confidentiality will support our team and employees while conforming to labor laws.
HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT DUTIES INCLUDE
- Organizing and maintaining personnel records.
- Sorting through daily mail and distributing to the appropriate department/ employee.
- Updating internal databases (e.g. recording change of address or contact information)
- Preparing HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Liaising with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensuring legal compliance.
- Creating reports for internal use by management and/or the HR department.
- Answering employee queries about HR-related issues.
- Participating in HR projects (e.g. onboarding new employees)
- Handling a multi-line telephone system.
QUALIFICATIONS WE LOOK FOR
- 1 – 2 years of experience working in an office setting.
- Ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish.
- Excellent phone etiquete.
- Experience working with the Microsoft 365 suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Confidentiality is a must.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, respectful, can-do attitude.
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual with extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Experience working with Sage accounting software is a plus.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
- $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
