Compensation: $85,000-$120,000 annually, base salary plus performance-based bonuses

Help Customers Recover After Unexpected Property Damage

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Clean Up is looking for a dependable Water Mitigation Technician to respond to residential and commercial properties affected by water and other unexpected property damage.

You'll work directly with the Water Mitigation team to perform restoration services, operate professional drying equipment, document project progress, and help return affected properties to safe and usable conditions.

Previous restoration experience is helpful but not required. We're interested in dependable, hardworking candidates who are willing to learn the restoration industry and develop their technical skills.

What You'll Do

• Respond to residential and commercial water mitigation projects
• Perform water extraction and emergency flood services
• Set up and monitor professional drying equipment
• Assist with demolition and removal of affected materials
• Perform cleaning, restorative drying, deodorization, and other mitigation services
• Assist with fire, smoke, and other specialized restoration projects as needed
• Monitor equipment and project progress throughout the drying process
• Clean and return equipment to the shop after project completion
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments with homeowners, property managers, and other customers
• Follow established health and safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Participate in after-hours emergency response as part of the team's on-call rotation

What We're Looking For

• Water mitigation, restoration, construction, demolition, cleaning, or other hands-on experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn water mitigation and restoration techniques
• Strong work ethic and ability to complete assigned tasks
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand verbal instructions and job work orders
• Comfortable learning to use professional restoration tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional and courteous when working with customers
• Willingness to work nights or weekends when emergency services require it
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
• Interest in continued training and professional development
