JOB SUMMARY: Performs duties relating to the cutting, preparation, display, and selling of meat and seafood products. Creates an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
WORK HOURS: Scheduled hours will vary. May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Although we are interested in providing our employees with a stable work schedule, our ability to do so depends on our assessment of work needs and business conditions.
PAY: Industry competitive rates of pay.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products
2. Organize, stock and rotate meat and seafood cases to ensure freshness and quality of products and presentation
3. Stock display cases
4. Practice safe use of tools and equipment used in the position
5. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
6. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing customer needs
7. Contributes to a positive and supportive work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ideal candidate will have experience working in a meat department with increased responsibility of meat cutting/trimming. Previous experience as a meat cutter preferred
2. Must be age 18 or older
3. Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees
4. Effective time management skills, strong work ethic and integrity
5. Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.55 - $26.77 per hour
