This position is also responsible for ensuring organized storage of finished product and organization of equipment at the end of the production process.

General Description
The Fabrication Cutter performs specialized meat cutting tasks, using knives to remove bone, trim, skin, and cut premium cuts of meat to customers’ order specifications. This position is also responsible for ensuring organized storage of finished product and organization of equipment at the end of the production process.
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cuts on meat products.
- Use handheld hook and knife, learn to use and sharpen a knife in an efficient and safe manner.
- Operates picnic skinner, bandsaw and other related equipment.
- Roll up carcasses for breaking saw.
- Work with others in a fast-paced team environment.
- Learn and follow regulations set by the USDA, HACCP, and SQF.
- Be aware of and follow strict safety guidelines.
- Willing to work overtime without notice.
- Work Schedule: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Technology, Equipment, Certifications
- Operates picnic skinner, bandsaw and other related equipment.
- Use of handheld hook and knife as a meat cutter in a manufacturing environment.
- Heavy lifting (Capable of at least 50-100 lbs).
- Long periods of walking and standing.
- Working in refrigerated temperatures.
