Summary

Performs quality review of scanned documents; processes death certificates; coordinates microfiche projects; ensures accurate and timely completion of Release of Information requests; serves as the department payroll coordinator; processes imported documents; Performs research for enterprise Doctor Master and referring physician database; performs all the duties of a Medical Records Associate I. Starting hourly rate is $20.66.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Associates degree in an Health Information Management program and the equivalent of six (6) months of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
• Successful completion of an accredited medical office assistant education program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
• High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of eighteen (18) months of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
• High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time Roswell Park clinical/administrative health care experience.
  
  

Note

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
