Regular **Company:** Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center **Department:** Central Laboratory Services **Time Type:** Part time **Weekly Hours:** 24 FTE: 0.6 **Shift:** Variable (United States of America) **Summary:** Processes requests and receives clinical laboratory/clinical research/research specimens within the laboratory sections within department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; accessions, processes, and routes laboratory testing material to the appropriate testing area; transcribes, prints, sorts, mails, and faxes laboratory reports; handles requests for laboratory reports, specimen tracking, and laboratory requests via phone, email, mail, and other correspondence methods; assists with the performance of laboratory quality control, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities; maintains laboratory supply inventories and processes requests for supply orders. **Qualifications:** Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program; or
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and enrolled in an Associate's degree program; or
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a clinical or research setting requiring the use of medical/laboratory terminology.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
