What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer position at Rossmönster?
Videographer
At Rossmönster, we design and build premium custom vans and adventure trucks for those who live for the journey. We’re looking for a full-time Videographer with 3-5 years of experience to capture the craftsmanship, creativity, and spirit of our builds — and help us tell stories that inspire.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, strategic, and deeply creative. You won’t just be handed a script — you’ll take ownership of the process from concept through delivery, producing cinematic content that aligns with the vision set by the Creative Director and CMO. You’ll help shape the ideas, coordinate the shoot, manage the production details, and ensure the final product requires minimal revisions because it’s right the first time.
What You’ll Do1. Filming, Editing & Equipment Management
- Capture cinematic walkthroughs of every finished van or truck
- Film product launches, lifestyle shoots, ads, and creative campaigns that help bring to live the strategic and creative essence of the Rossmonster brand
- Lead the shoot process, coordinating locations, timing, and needed assets to execute the creative vision
- Edit with precision — including color grading, pacing, and brand alignment
- Maintain, organize, and care for all video/audio equipment
- Minimize revisions by aligning early with creative direction and producing final-ready content on the first pass
2. Creative Collaboration, Ownership & Campaign Support
- Partner with the Creative Director to bring concepts to life and refine them into actionable production plans
- Provide creative input in storyboarding, shot selection, and narrative flow without relying solely on provided scripts
- Anticipate production needs and proactively organize what’s required for each shoot
- Contribute ideas for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and new formats
- Shape narratives, shot lists, and visual strategies for maximum impact
3. Content Organization & Cross-Functional Support
- Organize and archive footage for easy access and reuse
- Provide video assets for sales, social, website, and advertising
- Collaborate with production, sales, and marketing to anticipate needs and proactively capture supporting content
- 100% of finished vehicles documented with high-quality video
- Most edits approved in 1–2 rounds due to strong alignment and ownership of the vision
- Campaign assets delivered on time and on brand without heavy oversight
- Video content driving measurable engagement growth across platforms
- A filmmaker’s eye, a strategist’s vision, and an editor’s precision
- Strong technical skills in camera operation, editing, and color grading
- Ability to own the video creation process from idea through final delivery
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach that minimizes the need for direction during execution
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate shoots, locations, and production details
- Commitment to cross-functional collaboration and communication
- Passion for storytelling and premium craftsmanship
- Passion for the outdoors and adventure vehicles — a plus, not mandatory
