Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Operations Coordinator / Dispatch role located in Birmingham, AL. The individual in this role will oversee daily dispatch operations, coordinate driver schedules, monitor fleet activities, and ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments. Responsibilities include maintaining communication with drivers, customers, and other team members to resolve operational challenges, tracking shipments, and updating stakeholders as needed.

- Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data evaluation, and optimizing operational efficiency
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and team members
- Experience in Trucking Operations and Logistics coordination
- Customer Service expertise to build relationships and address client & driver needs effectively
- Proficiency in Administrative Assistance, organization, and record-keeping
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (Samsara, TransportPro) is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in logistics or a related field is a plus
