Working directly with our Engineering Director, you'll play a key role in developing new products, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting production from initial design through successful launch.

Position Overview
As our Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work directly with the Engineering Director to support new product introductions, manufacturing process development, engineering documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing engineering design with practical manufacturing support. You'll spend time both at your workstation developing engineering solutions and on the production floor working with operations to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify components, assemblies, and manufacturing solutions using SolidWorks
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing routings
- Support new product development from concept through production launch
- Develop manufacturing methods that improve quality, productivity, and throughput
- Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and engineering documentation
- Assist with tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing process improvements
- Understanding of Mastercam to support CNC manufacturing activities and collaborate with our CNC Programmer as needed
- Recommend improvements that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings
- Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience supporting new product introductions from concept through production
- Experience with process improvement and manufacturing troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Mastercam
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Welding and weldment design experience
- Press brake manufacturing knowledge
- CNC machining familiarity
- Experience supporting fabrication and machining operations
- Composite manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide training for candidates with a strong manufacturing engineering background.
