Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
- Prepare and assemble food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and basic food preparation tasks
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers through engaging customer interactions
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts
- Assist in food prep and kitchen support when needed to ensure timely service during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
