Role Overview
The Systems Reliability Senior Engineer in the Maintenance and Equipment Service Department designs, manages, and implements equipment solutions to support company sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage evaluation flows for investment projects, lead equipment improvement activities, ensure compliance with installation standards to enhance reliability, and develop engineering solutions for complex problems. Serve as a SME by researching new technologies, providing technical training, and utilizing data analysis to identify issues and develop countermeasures. Maintain technical documentation, mentor team members, and address equipment gaps to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and environmental performance.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 2-8 years of engineering or manufacturing experience. Skills include technical leadership, data analysis (SQL, Python, Excel), troubleshooting, supporting new model launches, and familiarity with Honda/Japanese culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of business plans are essential.
Work Environment: Standing, working in a fast-paced production area, handling varying temperatures, lifting up to 35 lbs., and occasional travel. Requires troubleshooting with tools and automation equipment, with a balance of office and manufacturing activities.
