Job Summary
Test Proctors must be able to supervise students taking exams to ensure academic integrity and all test guidelines are followed. This may apply to a variety of exams, including College Board (AP, SAT, PSAT, ACT) or other tests.
Individuals who are retired with CalSTRS are NOT eligible to apply for this classified position.

Positions and school sites will vary based on the school sites' needs. This is an on-call position with variable hours during the school year (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm). Hires with availability will likely get more hours.
Proctoring may be for a variety of tests and exams, some on paper and some online. Candidates will need the ability to follow testing instructions for proctoring exams, use a mobile computing device, and access district Wi-Fi. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow directions are critical to this position.
Note: This position is to join the pool of Test Proctors for the 2026-27 school year.
