Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Rosenberger North America is looking for a Material Handler in our Pennsauken location's Maintenance department, who has an interest in working with their hands, and is well-versed in using computers.

This role will be responsible for preparing various materials (aluminum, stainless, inconel, kovar, tantalum, etc) for our machinists through use of various saws and tools. This role will also be responsible for maintaining traceability and inventory utilizing our ERP system (Sage X3) on the computer, and must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Please note: A valid Driver's License is needed for this position, as the company truck will need to be used at times.

Rosenberger North America is a precision machining center located in Pennsauken, New Jersey. We are a climate controlled AS9100D facility.

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Maintain the traceability of certified hardware, customer supplied materials, and raw materials using Sage X3 (ERP System).
• Must maintain and help service assigned equipment.
• Recommend material preparation process based on departmental needs.
• Must keep a clean and safe work area.
• Must work under safety guidelines.
• Must complete tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Must comply with all Rosenberger North America Pennsauken policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Primarily responsible for operation of saws and other equipment.
• Completes measuring, scaling, and weighing of incoming materials.
• Conducts inventory checks for material and hardware.
• Must be capable of receiving, understanding and performing instructions (written and verbal).
• Well organized with excellent follow-up skills and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred:

• Experience with an ERP system.
• Experience operating saws and power equipment/tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
