Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior Attorney Recruiter to work closely with our founder and other senior team members on high-level attorney searches. This role is fully remote and ideal for someone with a JD and prior experience placing attorneys into roles such as in-house counsel, law firm associates, or non-traditional legal positions (e.g., Knowledge Management, Practice Management, or Compliance).
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Search Execution: Manage full-cycle attorney searches, including sourcing, outreach, screening, candidate management, and offer negotiation.
- Client Collaboration: Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and organizational culture.
- Candidate Development: Build strong, trust-based relationships with candidates to help align them with the right opportunities.
- Market Knowledge: Stay on top of legal industry trends and hiring activity within your areas of specialization.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of candidate and client interactions using our CRM.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Work closely with junior recruiters and our founder; contribute to strategic discussions on recruiting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: JD required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in legal recruiting , with demonstrated depth in one or more of the following areas:
- In-house counsel placements (especially in investment funds or compliance)
- Law firm associate recruiting
- Non-traditional roles, such as:
- Knowledge Management
- Practice Management
- Conflicts / Risk Management
- Office of General Counsel
- Track Record: Must provide a deal sheet or documentation of successful attorney placements.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-service mindset with consultative, relationship-building strengths
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote environment
- Availability: Full-time during standard U.S. business hours (preferably Eastern Time coverage)
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and remote collaboration software
