RSD Pre-Sale Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The Pre-Sales Administrative Coordinator will meet with dealers to ensure specs are correct and other necessary components are in order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

1. Get Bid information in by e-mail or phone calls in from Dealers through Presale.
2. Get Bid quotes on commercial chassis and custom Chassis according to customer specifications.
3. Send information out to the Draftsman to Create the drawing for the Bid to match specs.
4. Send information out to special pricing to get the specials priced in the Specs.
5. Once information comes back in put it in dealer presale folder.
6. Manage the Bid proposal sheet and dealer folders. Ensure accuracy and accountability so the Vice President has all the information they need to perform their duties on the pre-sale side.
7. Verify the information from the information request form is in.
8. When all available information is in. Put the information requested by the dealers in an e-mail and send to the appropriate Dealer.
9. Fill out Bid Bonds, Certificate of insurance, Turn Radius reports, and Amp reports,
10. Manages truck files in company drive that are appropriate to Pre-Sale and Stock Trucks.
11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED.

Required Experience:

• None.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with technical knowledge related to fire trucks.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills:

• Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.
• Will perform some troubleshooting.
