POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineering Technician supports the design, development, testing, and production implementation of electrical and electronic systems used in fire apparatus. This role bridges electrical engineering design and manufacturing execution by translating electrical concepts, schematics, and specifications into functional prototypes and production-ready solutions. The Technician works closely with Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to develop wiring architectures, control systems, and electrical sub-systems that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in validating designs through testing, troubleshooting electrical issues in production and the field, and ensuring electrical systems are reliable, serviceable, and manufacturable.
