POSITION SUMMARY

The Paint Operations Assistant supports the paint shop by ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation are prepared and organized for efficient production. This role assists with workflow coordination, part movement, basic mixing tasks, and general upkeep to maintain a safe, clean, and high-quality finishing environment. The technician helps keep daily operations running smoothly and performs additional duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. 

1. Order and maintain stock of liquid paint materials, including paints, primers, and related products.
2. Mix paints and primers according to approved spray-out cards and established specifications.
3. Restock prepping supplies, such as sanding paper and other consumables.
4. Track parts throughout the paint process to ensure accurate workflow and production status.
5. Handle, move, and position cabs using appropriate fixtures and equipment, including mounting them on various stands or jigs.
6. Prepare build books and ensure accurate documentation is available for production teams.
7. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the paint mixing room, including compliance with safety and environmental standards.
8. Complete daily inspections to support quality, safety, and readiness within the department.
9. Assist with general housekeeping along the paint production line to support a clean and efficient workspace.
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.
